Inter Milan was founded in 1908 by a group of Italian and Swiss football enthusiasts. The club was initially known as Football Club Internazionale, as it was founded by a group of international players. In 1928, the club merged with another Milan-based club, Unione Sportiva Milanese, to become Internazionale Milano.
History
Inter Milan has won a total of 19 Serie A titles, 7 Coppa Italia titles, and 5 Supercoppa Italiana titles. The club has also won three UEFA Champions League titles, two UEFA Cups, and one FIFA Club World Cup.
In recent years, Inter Milan has experienced a period of success under the management of Antonio Conte. In the 2020-2021 season, the club won the Serie A title for the first time since 2010, ending Juventus' nine-year domination of Italian football.
